A fun routine you can add right into your kid-show that packs flat, plays big, is easy to perform and entertaining for the kids AND the adults as well! This is a twist on the ole’ Stop Light or ABC Stung trick brought up to date utilizing the current popular Wizard theme.
Magician displays three large cards. There is a picture of a Wizard hat, a Wizard’s wand and the ever so popular bunny rabbit. You place all three cards into a folded bamboo placemat. You remove one card with it’s back toward the audience as you give a the audience a hint: “This is what the Wizard wears on his head.” They respond a HAT! “Right!” You show both sides of the card and put it away. You remove the second card. “This is what the Wizard waves.” Kids respond. A WAND! “Very good!” Discard the wand. “What is left in the folder?” The audience responds . . . The BUNNY! “ NO! I made the bunny disappear!” You let the back of the bamboo mat drop open to “prove” the bunny has vanished. But the kids see the picture of the bunny sticking out the side of the mat and they yell out in disapproval.
