Jack and the Beanstalk
Jack and the Beanstalk – John Kimmons – Practical Magic EXCLUSIVE
It is a long time since Practical Magic put out a story based trick, but we couldn’t pass this one by. The combination of a well-loved tale with dollops of Kimmo’s humour proved irresistible!
With the pantomime season, this trick is perfect for your Christmas shows!
The plot follows the well-known fairy tale of Jack selling the family cow for a tin of beans. A tin of BEANS!? Sure enough, the cow magically turns into a tin of beans, which Jack’s mother disgustedly throws away.
In the night, one of the beans magically grows, so in the morning, Jack climbs the beanstalk and finds a castle in the clouds. In the castle there is the goose which lays golden eggs – but Jack also finds a GIANT! (There is lots of business at this point!)
At last Jack makes it back home, where he is magically reunited with his mother and they lived happily . . . . but then you know the rest!
Packed with fun, coupled with a wonderful story to keep young audiences enchanted and laughing. The folder is approx 10.5” x 9” (27 cms x 23 cms) and the cards are 9” x 7.5” (23 cms x 19 cms). Comes complete with a cloth to represent night.
